President Ruto mourns Bishop Johana Gaceni as a spiritual pillar
President William Ruto has led the nation in mourning the passing of Bishop Johana Gaceni, describing him as a devoted servant of God whose teachings uplifted countless faithful across the country.
In his message of condolence to the family, friends and the larger Christian fraternity, President Ruto noted that Bishop Gaceni’s deep understanding of scripture and his commitment to spiritual nourishment made him a pillar of strength for many.
“May God grant the family and friends strength to bear with the loss of Bishop Johana Gaceni. His teachings were spiritually nourishing, and he immaculately interpreted Biblical scripture for the congregation,” said the President.
President Ruto urged the mourners to find solace in the words of Job 5:11: “The lowly he sets on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety.”
“Rest in peace, Man of God,” concluded the President in his tribute.
