Governor Natembeya Relocates to New County Headquarters in Trans Nzoia
In a major development aimed at enhancing service delivery and administrative efficiency, Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has officially relocated to the county’s new modern headquarters. The move consolidates all county departments under one roof, marking a significant milestone in the region’s governance journey.
Speaking during the official announcement, Governor Natembeya described the relocation as more than a change of address — calling it a "bold step toward a more efficient, transparent, and responsive county government."
“This modern facility brings together all departments, enabling seamless coordination, faster service, and greater accessibility for the people we serve,” said the governor. “It reflects our shared vision — one where governance meets the real needs of our citizens, and development is felt in every corner of our county.”
The new county offices are designed to improve the overall experience of residents seeking services from the county administration. Centralizing operations is expected to cut down on bureaucratic delays and improve interdepartmental collaboration.
Governor Natembeya also expressed deep appreciation to local leaders, the clergy, and residents who supported the transition process.
“I extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported this move. Your goodwill has made the transition smooth and successful, and continues to inspire our work,” he said.
The relocation is being seen as a major stride in the governor’s broader agenda to modernize county operations and bring public services closer to the people. Residents welcomed the move, citing the convenience and improved service delivery it is expected to bring.
