The Catholic Diocese of Eldoret is mourning the sudden passing of Fr. Samson Maritim, a dedicated servant of the Church who died while undergoing treatment at St. Luke Hospital. His death was confirmed by Bishop Dominic Kimengich, who expressed deep sorrow over the loss.
“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the unexpected passing on of our priest Fr. Samson Maritim, who has been sick and was under treatment in St. Luke Hospital,” Bishop Kimengich said in an official statement released today. “Keep the family of the Church and his biological family in your prayers.
