Kesses Member of Parliament CPA Julius Ruto has once again demonstrated his commitment to improving education infrastructure in the constituency, following the successful completion and commissioning of two modern classrooms at Lelmokwa Primary School in Tulwet/Chuiyat Ward.
The new classrooms, which were officially handed over to the school on Tuesday, are part of a broader effort by the MP to uplift learning conditions and promote access to quality education for all children in the area.
Speaking during the brief commissioning ceremony, MP Ruto emphasized that the project is not just about infrastructure, but about creating lasting impact in the lives of learners.
"This is more than just a development project — it’s a symbol of our belief that every child, regardless of where they come from, deserves a dignified space to learn, dream, and grow," said Ruto. "Education is the strongest foundation we can give our children, and today, we’ve taken another step toward that goal."
Teachers, parents, and pupils welcomed the new classrooms with excitement, describing them as a much-needed boost to the school’s learning environment. Previously, some students were forced to learn in overcrowded or makeshift spaces.
Headteacher Mrs. Emily Cherop expressed her gratitude, saying, “This is a big relief for us. These classrooms will go a long way in easing congestion and creating a more comfortable and focused learning experience for our pupils.”
The Lelmokwa Primary School project is one among several education initiatives being undertaken by the MP's office as part of a broader development strategy targeting schools across Kesses Constituency.
As the event concluded, the message from the MP was clear — his administration is focused on fulfilling promises and delivering tangible results that directly benefit the people.
