Governor Natembeya Leads Tributes to Late Ward Administrator Joseph Kiprono Lang'at



Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has led county leaders and residents in mourning the death of Joseph Kiprono Lang’at, a dedicated Ward Administrator who served in Kaplamai, Cherengany Sub-County.

Speaking during the burial ceremony held today in Kaplamai, Governor Natembeya paid glowing tribute to the late Lang’at, describing him as a diligent and committed public servant who served the County Government of Trans Nzoia with unwavering dedication and integrity.

“Today, I had the opportunity to pay my last respects to the late Joseph Kiprono Lang'at, a man whose devotion to public service left an indelible mark on our county administration. He was a pillar in the implementation of government policies at the grassroots level, and his absence will be deeply felt,” said the Governor.

On behalf of the County Government of Trans Nzoia and the entire county fraternity, Governor Natembeya extended heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the late Lang’at.

“May his family find strength during this trying moment, and may his soul rest in eternal peace,” he added.

The late Lang’at served as Ward Administrator in Kaplamai for several years, earning respect for his commitment to community engagement and administrative excellence.

County leaders, staff, and residents joined the governor in eulogizing Lang’at, remembering him as a humble, approachable leader who worked tirelessly to ensure service delivery at the ward level.
