The National Assembly’s Committee on Sports and Culture was today informed that over 400 heritage sites across Kenya are at risk of extinction due to poor maintenance and lack of adequate funding. Principal Secretary for Culture, Arts, and Heritage, Ms. Umma Bashir, addressed the Committee, urging for budgetary support to rehabilitate and conserve these valuable historical sites.
