Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Holiness Robert Francis Prevost on his historic election as Pope Leo XIV, calling it a moment of renewal and hope for the Catholic Church and the world at large.
In an official statement released from Kitale on Friday, Governor Natembeya described Pope Leo XIV’s elevation as “a divine moment of grace” and expressed confidence in the new pontiff’s ability to lead the global faithful with wisdom, compassion, and moral clarity.
