According to Oburu, the discussions focused on updates from the Senate Energy Committee, advancing the legislative agenda and strengthening policy oversight in Kenya’s energy sector.
He described the engagement as productive, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among leaders in addressing national development priorities.
“Collaborative leadership remains key to driving sustainable development and accountability across our nation,” Oburu said.
The meeting comes as the Senate continues to undertake oversight and legislative work on matters affecting the energy sector, including policy implementation and accountability.
