SanlamAllianz Kenya Launches 'Proud Moments' Campaign to Help Families and SMEs Protect Their Success

 




 SanlamAllianz Kenya has unveiled the Proud Moments Initiative, a nationwide campaign aimed at celebrating the achievements of Kenyans while encouraging them to protect the milestones they have worked hard to attain through insurance and long-term financial planning.

The initiative, which will run from July to October 2026 as part of a pan-African campaign, seeks to highlight the stories, sacrifices and support systems behind personal and business success, while promoting financial resilience among individuals, families and enterprises.

To anchor the campaign, SanlamAllianz Kenya is showcasing two of its flagship insurance solutions: Flexi Educator Plus from Sanlam Allianz Life Insurance (Kenya) Limited and SME 360 Insurance from Sanlam Allianz General Insurance (Kenya) Limited.

The Flexi Educator Plus plan is designed to help parents and guardians prepare for the rising cost of education by combining disciplined long-term savings with life insurance protection. The cover also includes critical illness benefits, guaranteed maturity benefits and waiver-of-premium features that ensure children's education plans remain on course even in the face of unforeseen challenges.

Meanwhile, the SME 360 Insurance Solution offers comprehensive protection for Kenya's micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), covering risks such as property damage, floods, employee injuries and third-party liabilities.

The insurance package is further strengthened through integration with SanlamAllianz Emergency Assist (SAZ-Assist), an emergency response platform that links customers to verified ambulance services, private security providers and roadside rescue teams. Using GPS technology, the platform verifies distress alerts and dispatches emergency responders to customers' locations.

Speaking during the launch, Sanlam Allianz General Insurance (Kenya) Limited Chief Executive Officer George Kuria said the initiative reflects the company's commitment to supporting customers beyond insurance by recognizing and protecting their achievements.

"At SanlamAllianz Kenya, we understand that every proud moment is the result of dedication, resilience and the courage to pursue a dream. Whether it is raising a family, investing in a child's education or growing a business, these milestones deserve to be celebrated and protected," said Kuria.

He added that the campaign demonstrates how the company's insurance solutions help customers safeguard what they have worked so hard to build.

Sanlam Allianz Life Insurance Kenya CEO Jacqueline Karasha emphasized that insurance should empower people to plan confidently for the future rather than only serving as protection during crises.

"Insurance should not only respond when things go wrong; it should also help people plan ahead, protect their progress and pursue new opportunities with confidence. Proud Moments remind us that protecting a child's future, a growing business or a family's aspirations is one of the greatest ways of celebrating success," she said.

According to the 2022 Central Bank of Kenya MSME Survey, Kenya's MSME sector employs more than 14.9 million people, underscoring its critical role in driving economic growth and job creation.

SanlamAllianz Kenya noted that both the Flexi Educator Plus and SME 360 Insurance solutions are available at different price points to cater for customers across various income levels, with the goal of increasing insurance penetration and strengthening financial resilience nationwide.

Through the Proud Moments Initiative, the insurer says it aims to position itself as a trusted partner helping individuals, families and businesses protect what matters most as they continue building their success stories.
