"I'll Punch You!" Waluke Warns Opposition MPs Against Entering Sirisia

Sirisia Member of Parliament John Koyi Waluke has issued a stern warning to Members of Parliament allied to the Linda Mwananchi movement, declaring that they will not be allowed to hold political activities in Sirisia Constituency.

Speaking during a public gathering, an angry Waluke accused a section of Opposition leaders from Bungoma County, particularly Kabuchai MP Majimbo Kalasinga, of repeatedly insulting and disrespecting him whenever they visit his constituency.

The outspoken legislator said he had reached his limit and vowed to personally confront any leader he finds campaigning in Sirisia while allegedly abusing him.

"I have vowed, over my dead body, if I find them in this constituency. Before God, unless I wasn't circumcised. I'm a military officer and I don't lie when I say I'll beat you up. This hand—I'm a saved Christian, but this hand is not. I will not allow people from Kabuchai to come and urinate here as I watch. I'll punch someone and you'll be shocked," Waluke said.

The MP maintained that Sirisia is under his leadership and warned outsiders against using the constituency as a platform for political attacks.

His remarks come amid heightened political tensions in Bungoma County, where rival camps have intensified campaigns ahead of the 2027 General Election. The Linda Mwananchi movement has recently been holding rallies across different parts of the country, attracting both support and sharp criticism from leaders aligned with the Kenya Kwanza administration.

Waluke's comments are likely to fuel further political debate, with leaders expected to weigh in on the growing war of words between rival political factions.
