A 17-year-old girl is fighting for her life in a hospital in Narok County after a brutal attack allegedly carried out by a man known to her. The assault left the teenager with life-threatening injuries, including a severed arm and severe dental trauma, sparking outrage and renewed calls for action against gender-based violence.

According to reports, the victim was rushed to hospital, where she is receiving specialized treatment as doctors work to stabilize her condition. The shocking incident has drawn widespread condemnation from residents, community leaders, and human rights advocates, who are demanding swift investigations and the immediate arrest and prosecution of the suspect.

The teenager's family has appealed for justice and support, saying they are determined to see those responsible held accountable.

In a separate tragedy, the family of 21-year-old Elizabeth Ngina, a student at Thika Technical Institute, is also demanding answers following her brutal murder. Devastated relatives have urged investigators to establish the circumstances surrounding her death and ensure those responsible face the full force of the law.

The two incidents have intensified public concern over the safety of women and girls in Kenya, with activists calling for stronger measures to prevent gender-based violence and protect vulnerable members of society.

Police say investigations into both cases are ongoing as families and the public await justice.
