Kaiboi National Polytechnic has officially announced the ongoing September intake, inviting qualified applicants to enroll in various technical and vocational programmes as institutions across the country intensify efforts to boost skills development and youth employability.

The institution has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering competency-based education and training, with a strong focus on practical skills, innovation, and industry readiness.

Speaking on the intake, Chief Principal Abdi Kirwa Tiony said the institution continues to place trainees at the center of all its academic and developmental programmes, ensuring that learners are supported throughout their training journey.

“At Kaiboi National Polytechnic, our trainees remain at the heart of everything we do,” said Tiony. “We are committed to providing a supportive learning environment through quality training facilities, experienced instructors, career guidance, industrial attachment opportunities and comprehensive student support services that enable every trainee to realize their full potential.”

He emphasized that the institution has strengthened its training capacity through improved learning facilities, enhanced instructional support, and stronger partnerships with industry players to ensure students gain hands-on experience during their studies.

According to the Chief Principal, industrial attachment remains a key component of training at Kaiboi, allowing trainees to transition smoothly from classroom learning to real-world work environments.

He further noted that the institution continues to expand its student support systems, including mentorship, academic guidance, and career advisory services designed to help learners make informed decisions about their professional futures.

During the ongoing September intake, the institution is encouraging prospective students from across the country to take advantage of available opportunities in technical education.

“During this ongoing September intake, we invite you to join Kaiboi National Polytechnic community and become part of an institution that values excellence, integrity, innovation and service,” he added.

Kaiboi National Polytechnic has positioned itself as a key player in technical and vocational education, offering programmes aimed at addressing skills gaps in various sectors of the economy. The institution continues to align its training with market demands to ensure graduates are competitive both locally and internationally.

Available programmes are designed to equip learners with practical and market-driven skills, preparing them for employment, self-reliance, and entrepreneurship opportunities in a rapidly evolving job market.

Prospective applicants can apply through the official online portal: Kaiboi National Polytechnic Application Portal or visit the institution physically for walk-in applications and further guidance on course selection.

The announcement comes at a time when technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institutions across Kenya are stepping up recruitment drives, with an emphasis on increasing youth participation in skills-based training as a pathway to employment and economic empowerment.

Kaiboi National Polytechnic has urged all interested applicants to submit their applications early to secure placement in their preferred courses for the September intake.
