Hon. Moses Gachui Mungai Accelerates Road Infrastructure Development Across Kihumbuini Ward

Residents of Kihumbuini Ward are beginning to experience the tangible benefits of improved infrastructure as the ward administration, under the leadership of Murang’a County Assembly Deputy Speaker and Kihumbuini MCA Hon. Moses Gachui Mungai, continues the rehabilitation and upgrading of key feeder roads across the area.

The ongoing works are aimed at enhancing connectivity, easing transportation, and improving access to essential services such as schools, health facilities, markets, and residential areas. The initiative reflects Hon. Gachui's commitment to delivering on his development agenda and ensuring that no part of Kihumbuini is left behind.

Among the roads that have already undergone rehabilitation are Kiamunyugi (Rugaita Crescent) Road, Rugaita Road, St. Lawrence–Rurii Road, Kaniu Road, Nguini Road, Gicici Road, Gathiruini Road, Mukarara Bethel–Thithi Road, and Mukarara Nursery–ACK Road. These improvements are expected to significantly reduce transport challenges, particularly during rainy seasons when many feeder roads become impassable.

In addition, works on the Gaikamba–Wakarugi Road and its crescent are set to be completed, further expanding the ward's road network and enhancing mobility for residents and businesses alike.

The road rehabilitation programme is more than just a construction project; it is an investment in economic growth and social development.
