Recruitment Agency Announces Mass Hiring Drive for Housemaids to Saudi Arabia

A recruitment agency operating under the name Nicklink Gulf Consultancy has announced a large-scale recruitment exercise targeting women interested in domestic work opportunities in Saudi Arabia.

According to an advertisement circulating ahead of the event, the agency is seeking female housemaids aged between 21 and 38 years for two-year employment contracts in Saudi Arabia. The recruitment exercise is scheduled to take place in Eldoret Town on May 9, 2026, beginning at 8:00 a.m.

The agency says both first-time applicants and experienced Gulf workers are eligible to apply, provided they possess valid passports at the time of recruitment. The advertisement also promises attractive salaries and employment benefits, including free accommodation, medical care, and transportation provided by employers.

In a move likely to attract many job seekers, the company states that no recruitment commission or processing fees will be charged during the exercise. Officials from a Saudi Arabian company are expected to attend the recruitment session in person.

The announcement comes amid growing interest among Kenyan job seekers seeking employment opportunities in the Middle East, where domestic work remains one of the most accessible sectors for migrant labor. Recruitment agencies have increasingly organized mass hiring campaigns in major towns to connect workers with overseas employers.

However, labor experts continue to urge applicants to exercise caution when seeking jobs abroad. Prospective workers are advised to verify recruitment agencies through relevant government authorities, carefully review employment contracts, and ensure they understand their rights and working conditions before traveling.

Authorities have previously emphasized the importance of using licensed agencies and following official migration procedures to reduce cases of exploitation, contract violations, and human trafficking.

The Eldoret recruitment event is expected to attract a large turnout from across the North Rift region as many unemployed youth and women continue to search for overseas employment opportunities.
