Nyandarua Senator Kaba Methu Expresses Condolences Following Passing of Mzee Kwenya

Nyandarua Senator Kaba Methu has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the family of Hon. Kwenya Thuku following the passing on of his father, Mzee Kwenya, describing him as a respected community leader and a strong pillar in the advancement of education within the region.

In his message of sympathy, Senator Methu noted with sadness the loss of a man he personally knew and deeply respected, highlighting Mzee Kwenya’s long-standing contribution to community development and his unwavering support for education.

“I have woken up to the very sad news of the passing on of Mzee Kwenya, a man I know and respect deeply, and an ardent supporter of education,” the Senator said.

He further reflected on accounts shared by his mother, who recalled Mzee Kwenya’s influential role during her time at Rugongo Primary School, where he was described as a central figure in the effective running and support of the institution.

“My mother tells me that during her days at Rugongo Primary, Mzee Kwenya was a fulcrum around which the institution operated,” he added.

Senator Methu extended his sympathies to Hon. Kwenya Thuku and the entire family, urging them to find strength and comfort during this difficult period of mourning.

“My sincere condolences to Hon. Kwenya Thuku and his family during this difficult season,” he concluded.
