MBOIKAMITI MEMBERS URGED TO REMAIN VIGILANT AHEAD OF MAY 29 MEETING.
By Grace Waithaka.
MBOIKAMITI acting chairman Gakunga Githiomi has urged members to remain vigilant and avoid being misled by individuals allegedly posing as leaders of the organization.
Speaking during a members’ briefing, Githiomi said shareholders should remain united as they await the official meeting scheduled for May 29, 2026. He warned members against attending unauthorized meetings or listening to people spreading confusion within the organization.
“We urge all members to stay calm and focused as we prepare for the meeting on May 29. Members should not listen to individuals pretending to be leaders with the aim of misleading shareholders,” said Githiomi.
The acting chairman further stated that former acting chairman Thuo Mathenge had withdrawn the case he filed following his defeat, a move he described as a step towards unity and stability within MBOIKAMITI.
Githiomi called on members to maintain peace and support efforts aimed at ensuring smooth leadership transition and orderly operations of the organization.
The upcoming meeting is expected to address key matters concerning the welfare and future direction of MBOIKAMITI shareholders.
