Nairobi Woman Representative Hon. Esther M. Passaris, OGW Brings Joy to Elders in Mji wa Huruma

 



Hon. Esther Passaris, Nairobi Woman Representative, spread joy and love to seniors at the  Old People’s Home in Mji wa Huruma  this Good Friday. The outreach, part of her ongoing commitment to community welfare, included the distribution of  foodstuffs and essential supplies , bringing comfort to the elderly during the Easter season.


“This Good Friday, let us pause and remember our seniors. Easter is a time for reflection, gratitude, and service,” Hon. Passaris said. “Caring for our elders strengthens our communities and reminds us of the value of empathy and kindness.”


Known for her hands-on leadership, Hon. Passaris personally interacted with residents, listening to their stories and sharing messages of hope. The initiative also highlighted the challenges faced by the elderly, including social isolation and limited access to resources, urging Kenyans to play a part in uplifting vulnerable groups.
