CPA Eric Wabuyabo Assumes Acting Managing Director Role at KACWASCO

 


 The Kakamega County Water and Sanitation Company (KACWASCO) has officially witnessed the handover of its Managing Director’s office, with CPA Eric Wabuyabo taking over in an acting capacity following the end of Eng. Michael Ogol’s tenure.

The handover ceremony was attended by members of the Board of Directors led by Chairman Mr. Boaz Odemu Bulimu, Chief Officer for Water Dr. Mariam Were, Board Committee Chairs, and the company’s Core Management Team.

Speaking during the event, Mr. Bulimu expressed confidence in CPA Wabuyabo’s leadership, noting that his experience would ensure stability and continuity in the company’s operations. He also commended Eng. Ogol for his professionalism and dedication, crediting him with laying a strong foundation during his time at the helm.

In his acceptance remarks, CPA Wabuyabo thanked the Board for entrusting him with the role and pledged to work closely with management and staff to sustain the company’s progress. He emphasized his commitment to enhancing service delivery and maintaining operational efficiency.

Outgoing Managing Director Eng. Ogol expressed gratitude to the Board, management, and staff for their support throughout his tenure, describing his time at KACWASCO as an honor. He voiced confidence in the company’s future under the new leadership.

Dr. Mariam Were lauded Eng. Ogol’s contributions to the water and sanitation sector and assured CPA Wabuyabo of the County Government’s full support as he takes on the new responsibility.

KACWASCO reaffirmed its commitment to uninterrupted operations and the continued provision of safe, reliable, and efficient water and sanitation services to residents of Kakamega County.
