RVTTI Announces Opening of KUCCPS Portal for May 2026 TVET Intake
Rift Valley Technical Training Institute (RVTTI) has announced that the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) portal is now open for students seeking placement in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes for the May 2026 intake.
In a notice released by the institution, eligible students have been encouraged to apply through the KUCCPS student portal before the application deadline of March 18, 2026.
According to the announcement, the programmes are open to students with a wide range of academic qualifications. Applicants with a C- (minus) and above can apply for Level 6 courses, those with a D (plain) and above qualify for Level 5 programmes, while students with D- and below may enroll in Level 4 courses.
The institute said the opportunity is aimed at equipping young people with practical and market-driven skills that can help them secure employment or venture into self-employment.
RVTTI, a leading TVET institution based in Eldoret, offers training in various technical fields including engineering, hospitality, ICT, and other hands-on professional courses designed to meet the demands of Kenya’s growing industrial and service sectors.
Prospective students can submit their applications through the KUCCPS online platform at students.kuccps.ac.ke. The institute has also provided a QR code for easier access to the application portal.
Officials at RVTTI have urged school leavers and other interested applicants to take advantage of the opportunity, noting that technical training remains a key pathway to employment and innovation in line with national development goals such as Kenya Vision 2030.
“Technical education plays a critical role in building the country’s workforce. We encourage eligible students to apply early and secure their slots,” the institute said.
RVTTI continues to position itself as a hub for technical training and innovation, with the message to students clear: “Gain the skills. Get the job. Build your future.”
