Ruiru MP Commissions New Administrative Block at Mukuyu Primary School

Ruiru Member of Parliament, Hon. Simon King’ara, yesterday joined the leadership, parents, and community of Mukuyu Primary School in Gitothua Ward to officially commission a newly constructed administrative block, fully funded through the Ruiru National Government–Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF).

The new facility is expected to significantly enhance school administration, improve coordination among staff, and create a more efficient working environment that ultimately supports better learning outcomes for pupils.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Hon. King’ara reaffirmed his commitment to investing in education as a cornerstone of sustainable development in Ruiru Constituency. He noted that strengthening institutional infrastructure in public schools is key to improving service delivery and nurturing a conducive learning environment.

“This administrative block is part of our broader agenda to support education by ensuring schools have the facilities they need to operate effectively. Through the NG-CDF, we will continue to prioritize projects that directly benefit our children and the community at large,” said the MP.

School administrators and parents welcomed the project, lauding the NG-CDF for its role in addressing critical infrastructure needs at the grassroots level.

The commissioning of the Mukuyu Primary School administrative block underscores the Ruiru NG-CDF’s continued impact in advancing education and community development across the constituency.
