 I never thought love could break me this way. I was a hardworking man with big dreams and a soft heart. When I met Lilian, I believed she was the woman God had prepared for me. She was humble, beautiful, and always spoke softly. I loved her deeply, and I was ready to do anything to see her smile.

At that time, Lilian had no job. She used to cry and say life was unfair. She said men only used her and left her with nothing. I felt sorry for her. I wanted to be the man who would change her story.

So one day, I made a decision that changed my life forever.

I used my savings and opened a small cosmetic business for her in town. I paid rent, bought stock, shelves, mirrors, and even paid for branding. I believed that when a woman is empowered, she becomes loyal and supportive. I trusted her with my whole heart.

At first, everything looked good. She thanked me every day. She called me “my king” and said no man had ever done such a thing for her. I felt proud. I felt like a real man.

She stopped calling me often. When I visited the shop, she looked annoyed. She stopped answering my messages on time. Sometimes, she would tell me she was tired or busy with customers.
