Dramatic scene in Luthuri Avenue after man conned Ksh49,000 buying TCL TV gets money back

What happened that afternoon along Luthuri Avenue in Nairobi still feels unreal to me. I had saved for months to buy a decent television for my family. When I arrived, he did not even argue. He pulled out Ksh49,000 in cash and handed it to me, apologising repeatedly. He said he felt he was dying and wanted the problem to end. Traders watched silently as I walked away with my money. Some followed me outside, stunned. To read more click here
