Trans-Nzoia Governor George Natembeya Mourns Passing of Former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo


Trans-Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has expressed profound sorrow over the sudden and tragic passing of former Lugari Member of Parliament, Hon. Cyrus Jirongo, following a fatal road accident along the Nakuru–Naivasha Highway.

In a heartfelt statement, Governor Natembeya described Jirongo as a towering figure in Kenya’s political landscape, whose contributions to public service and dedication to the welfare of ordinary citizens left a lasting legacy.

“His untimely death has robbed the country of a distinguished political leader whose commitment to public service was both profound and enduring,” Natembeya said.
