Mwea MP Mary Maingi Encourages Youth to Reflect, Learn and Build for the Future
Mwea Member of Parliament Mary Maingi has called on young people to use the December season as a time for quiet reflection on their dreams and the future they aspire to build.
In an encouraging message to the youth, the MP emphasized that growth begins with intention, noting that every step taken toward learning—whether academic or vocational—plays a critical role in shaping a meaningful and sustainable future.
She reaffirmed her commitment to strengthening vocational training centres across the constituency, saying the goal is to ensure that skills, knowledge and opportunity remain within reach for all young people. According to Ms Maingi, learning is not a race but a personal journey that rewards consistency and daily self-improvement.
“Take time to think, to plan, and to believe in what you can become,” she urged. “Your future is worth the care and patience you give it.”
The message underscores the MP’s continued focus on youth empowerment, skills development and long-term socio-economic transformation in Mwea Constituency.
