AIC Mimosa DCC Hosts Youth Camp at AIC Singoliet with Call for Spiritual Revival
By Sheila Keter
The Africa Inland Church (AIC) Mimosa District Church Council (DCC) has officially launched its annual Youth Camp at AIC Singoliet Camp, bringing together young people from across the district for a week-long spiritual encounter themed “The Springs of Revival.”
The camp, which runs from December 14 to December 20, 2025, is designed to provide a platform for spiritual renewal, mentorship, and fellowship among the youth, while nurturing leadership, discipline, and Christian values.
Speaking ahead of the camp, AIC Mimosa DCC Chairperson and Director, Ms. Sheila Keter, said the gathering comes at a crucial time when young people are seeking purpose, direction, and spiritual grounding.
“This camp is a call to revival among our youth. Under the theme ‘The Springs of Revival,’ we are trusting God to renew hearts, restore hope, and raise a generation that is firmly rooted in faith and service,” said Ms. Keter.
She added that AIC Singoliet Camp offers a serene and conducive environment for prayer, teaching, worship, and fellowship, allowing participants to fully engage in the spiritual program.
Ms. Keter warmly invited all youth within and beyond the Mimosa DCC to attend, noting that their presence would greatly enrich the fellowship. She announced that each participant is required to contribute KSh 250 to cater for camp facilitation and logistics.
“Everyone is welcome, and your presence is highly valued. We encourage parents, guardians, and church leaders to support our young people to attend and be part of what God is doing in this season,” she said.
The week-long program will feature Bible teachings, prayer sessions, worship, mentorship forums, team-building activities, and interactive discussions aimed at empowering youth spiritually and socially.
AIC Mimosa DCC leadership expressed confidence that the camp will leave a lasting impact on participants and strengthen the spiritual foundation of the church’s youth ministry.
