Mudavadi Visits Family of Late Hon. Cyrus Jirongo to Offer Condolences
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has visited the family of the late Hon. Cyrus Jirongo at their home in Gigiri, Nairobi, to offer his condolences and personal support following the lawmaker’s passing.
Upon arrival, Mudavadi encouraged the family to remain strong and steadfast in prayer as arrangements for the final interment in Lugari Constituency, Kakamega County, progress.
“To my brother, you touched many lives and left your mark on Kenya’s political landscape. You were determined, vibrant, and humorous in your own unique way as you pursued your goals and objectives. But God’s ways are always beyond us,” Mudavadi said, paying tribute to the late politician.
He extended his sympathies to the late Jirongo’s immediate family, including Mama Christine Nyokabi Jirongo, Mama Anne Lanoi Jirongo, Mama Anne Kanini Jirongo, his children, and the wider family.
“May your soul rest in eternal peace,” Mudavadi added, offering prayers for comfort and strength to the bereaved family during this difficult period.
The visit underscores the high regard in which Jirongo was held across Kenya’s political spectrum, as leaders continue to pay tribute to his contributions to the country’s political and social development.
Arrangements for the late politician’s final send-off in Lugari Constituency are ongoing, with family, friends, and political associates expected to attend to honor his legacy.
