Mudavadi Joins Faithful in Eldoret to Honor Late Bishop Joseph Likavo
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi joined congregants of the International Vision Centre Church in Eldoret to honor and celebrate the life of the late Bishop Joseph Likavo, eulogizing him as a distinguished spiritual leader whose service to God and humanity left a lasting mark on countless lives.
Speaking during a memorial service attended by church leaders, family members, friends, and faithful from across the region, Mudavadi expressed solidarity with the bereaved family as they prepared to give the late bishop a dignified and befitting send-off.
Mudavadi described Bishop Likavo as a man of unwavering faith, integrity, and courage, noting that his life’s mission was firmly anchored in spreading the gospel and uplifting communities through spiritual guidance and compassionate leadership.
“Bishop Likavo was not only a shepherd of souls but also a mentor, counselor, and pillar of hope to many. His leadership was guided by humility, wisdom, and a deep love for God’s people,” Mudavadi said.
He noted that the late bishop’s ministry went beyond the pulpit, touching lives through acts of kindness, encouragement, and a commitment to nurturing moral values and unity within society. According to Mudavadi, Bishop Likavo exemplified servant leadership and remained steadfast in his calling even in the face of challenges.
The Prime Cabinet Secretary acknowledged the critical role of faith leaders in shaping society, stating that Bishop Likavo’s contribution to spiritual growth and social cohesion would continue to inspire both present and future generations.
