Moisbridge Ward Set for Improved Road Network as Works Expand

Residents of Moisbridge Ward are set to benefit from ongoing and expanded road improvement works aimed at enhancing transport, accessibility, and economic activities across the ward.

Speaking during an inspection of the current projects, Moisbridge Ward MCA Bishop Patrick Kimeli praised the steady progress being made on local roads, noting that the works are focused on long-term solutions rather than temporary fixes. He emphasized that the ward leadership is committed to covering all roads within the ward, ensuring that no area is left behind.

“We are using the best quality marram available so that the roads last longer and serve our people effectively,” said Bishop Kimeli. “This is about service delivery, not politics. Mengine ni siasa na porojo tu.”

The improved roads are expected to ease movement for residents, farmers, traders, and school-going children, while also reducing vehicle maintenance costs and improving safety during the rainy season.

Bishop Kimeli reaffirmed his commitment to transparent and inclusive development, calling on residents to support and protect the projects for the benefit of the entire community. He added that collaboration between the county government, contractors, and residents remains key to achieving sustainable infrastructure development.

As works continue, Moisbridge Ward remains focused on practical development that directly improves the daily lives of its people.
