Matatu Owners Association President Albert Karakacha Condemns Rising Road Accidents

The Hon. President of the Matatu Owners Association, Albert Karakacha, has expressed deep concern over the escalating road carnage claiming innocent lives across Kenya.

Late last night, ten people lost their lives along the Kisumu–Chabera Road, coming just hours after other accidents nationwide had claimed nearly twenty lives.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the affected families,” said Mr. Karakacha, urging all road users to exercise utmost responsibility during this busy holiday season.

He stressed that drivers must ensure their vehicles are roadworthy and adhere strictly to traffic rules, while passengers should report reckless conduct to help avert further tragedies.

“May the souls of the departed rest in eternal peace,” he added, calling on Kenyans to prioritise safety on the roads.
