Kipchumba Karori Announces Eldoret International Volleyball Tournament Set for December

The sporting spotlight is set to shine on Eldoret once again as preparations gear up for the Kipchumba Karori Eldoret International Volleyball Tournament, scheduled to take place from December 18 to 21, 2025, in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.

The tournament, which has rapidly grown into one of the region’s most competitive volleyball events, will bring together elite teams from across Kenya and beyond, featuring multiple categories to nurture both established and upcoming talent.

Speaking during the announcement, tournament patron Kipchumba Karori said this year’s edition aims to elevate the competition’s profile while offering athletes a platform to showcase their skills on an international stage.

“Eldoret is already known as the home of champions. Through this tournament, we want to extend that legacy to volleyball by providing world-class competition, attractive rewards, and opportunities for players to grow,” Karori said.

The tournament will feature Senior, Self-Supporting, University/College, High School, and Primary School categories—with lucrative cash prizes for top performers.
