Kesses MP CPA Julius Ruto Graces 98th Kenya Music and Cultural Festival Gala in Eldoret
Kesses Member of Parliament, CPA Julius Ruto, on Monday joined hundreds of performers, educators, and cultural enthusiasts at the 98th Kenya Music and Cultural Festival Gala held at Moi Girls High School Grounds in Eldoret. The colourful event was graced by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, who applauded the festival as a cornerstone of Kenya’s cultural identity.
Speaking during the ceremony, MP Ruto celebrated the festival as a unifying platform that continues to nurture and showcase Kenya’s artistic talent.
“This festival is a powerful reminder that the arts remain a cornerstone of nation building. Through music and cultural expression, our young people continue to showcase the talent, unity, and resilience that define Kenya,” he said.
The legislator highlighted the vital role of music and culture in shaping national values and building bridges across communities. He praised the participants for their creativity and discipline, noting that the festival has remained an important space for youth empowerment and positive social engagement.
Ruto reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote culture, education, and talent development within Kesses and across the country. He encouraged continued investment in the arts, stressing that cultural expression is a key pillar in strengthening national cohesion.
