Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi Mourns Former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has expressed profound shock and sorrow following the passing of former Lugari MP, Hon. Cyrus Jirongo, describing him as a political giant whose legacy continues to inspire.

Speaking in a heartfelt tribute, Sudi recalled his time working closely with Jirongo as his trusted assistant from 2009 to mid-2012. “I had the privilege of working with him for three and a half years, and I witnessed firsthand his dedication, passion, and kindness,” Sudi said.

He described Jirongo as a leader who had a unique ability to instill hope and confidence in those around him. “Even when he had no money, he would reassure us that we would get it within the hour. His conviction was so strong that you believed the solution was already on its way,” Sudi said.

Sudi emphasized that Jirongo defied political conventions and inspired loyalty and determination among his colleagues and supporters. “He was a true leader who motivated those around him to believe in possibilities, no matter the circumstances,” he said.

The Kapseret MP extended his heartfelt condolences to Jirongo’s family, friends, and loved ones, mourning the loss of a man he described as not only a boss but also a good friend.

“Rest in peace, my good friend Jirongo,” Sudi concluded, highlighting the enduring impact of Jirongo’s leadership on Kenya’s political landscape.
