Governors Wanga and Arati Pay Courtesy Call on Uasin Gishu Governor, Reaffirm Unity Agenda

Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii Chelilim on Wednesday morning hosted Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga and Kisii Governor Simba Arati, who paid him a courtesy call at his office in Eldoret.

The meeting underscored the growing spirit of unity and collaboration among county governments operating under the Broad-Based Government framework. The three leaders held discussions centered on strengthening inter-county cooperation, promoting inclusive leadership, and advancing people-centered development as key drivers of national progress.

Governor Bii noted that such engagements are vital in fostering partnerships between counties, allowing leaders to share best practices and innovative approaches aimed at improving service delivery to citizens.

“Our focus remains on working together for the benefit of our people. Collaboration among counties enables us to learn from one another and implement policies that have a real impact at the grassroots,” Governor Bii said.

Governors Wanga and Arati echoed the sentiments, emphasizing the need for leaders to rise above political affiliations and work collectively to address shared development challenges. They reaffirmed their commitment to unity, dialogue, and cooperation as essential ingredients for sustainable development and national cohesion.

The visit highlighted a shared resolve among the governors to strengthen ties between counties and promote a leadership culture anchored on collaboration, inclusivity, and service to the people.
