Dr Reuben Kigame Mourns the Passing of Hon. Cyrus Jirongo

Presidential aspirant Dr Reuben Kigame has expressed deep sorrow following the tragic death of Hon. Cyrus Jirongo, who passed on after a fatal road accident in Naivasha on Friday morning.

In a heartfelt message, Dr Kigame said he was personally shaken by the news, noting that he and those he was travelling with had earlier driven past the scene of the accident without knowing the identity of the victim involved.

“It is with a heavy heart that I share the sad news of the passing on of Hon. Cyrus Jirongo following a fatal road accident this morning in Naivasha. We saw the wreck as we drove past there today, but did not know he was the one involved,” Dr Kigame said.

He described the incident as a painful reminder of the fragility of life and extended his condolences to the family, friends, and associates of the former legislator.

“May God comfort his family and friends during this very difficult time,” he added.

Hon. Jirongo was a well-known public figure whose passing has sent shockwaves across the country, with many Kenyans expressing grief and offering messages of condolence.
