Dagoretti North MP Beatrice Elachi Reflects on Faith, Gratitude, and Hope as 2025 Draws to a Close

Dagoretti North Member of Parliament Hon. Beatrice Elachi has shared a heartfelt message of gratitude, reflection, and hope as the year 2025 comes to an end, affirming her unwavering faith in God’s guidance through a year marked by growth, challenges, and victories.

Hon. Elachi described 2025 as a season of profound lessons—moments that stretched faith, tested resilience, and revealed quiet strength. She noted that despite uncertainties and trials, God’s faithfulness remained constant throughout the journey.

Quoting 1 Samuel 7:12, *“Thus far the Lord has helped us,” the MP drew inspiration from the biblical account of the Israelites’ victory over the Philistines. She highlighted how Samuel set up an Ebenezer—a stone of remembrance—not to celebrate perfection, but to testify to God’s help up to that moment, and to affirm trust in Him for the future.

“As we approach 2026, it is important to pause and remember our own Ebenezers,” Hon. Elachi said. “Every battle survived, every door opened or closed for our protection, every lesson learned is evidence that God has helped us this far and will continue to lead us forward.”

She encouraged residents of Dagoretti North and Kenyans at large to enter the new year with gratitude, hope, and renewed trust in God, confident that the same grace that sustained them through 2025 will carry them into 2026.
