Marakwet West MP Inspects Electrification Project, Vows Full Connectivity to National Grid

 

 Marakwet West Member of Parliament, Timothy Kipchumba Toroitich,  carried out an on-site inspection of the ongoing electrification project in Rorok Village, expressing optimism that the initiative will be a transformative milestone for the constituency.

Speaking to journalists at the site, MP Toroitich described the project as a “game changer” for local residents. He highlighted that access to electricity is expected to spur economic activities, improve educational opportunities, enhance health services, and generally elevate the standard of living in the region.

“I am delighted with the progress I have seen today. Electricity connectivity is not just about lighting homes; it is about opening doors to new opportunities for our people,” MP Toroitich said.

During the inspection, the legislator personally congratulated the contractor responsible for executing the project, commending the speed and professionalism demonstrated by the team. He pledged to continue supporting efforts to ensure that Marakwet West is fully connected to the national grid.

The MP emphasized that the electrification initiative aligns with his broader development agenda aimed at transforming Marakwet West. “We are committed to delivering projects that make a real difference.
