DPP urges integrity as KCSE exams begin.
The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Renson Ingonga, CBS, OGW, today joined examination officials and teachers in overseeing the distribution of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination papers at Kakamega School.
Flanked by the institution’s Principal Elphas Luvaso, the DPP extended his best wishes to all candidates sitting for the national exams, urging them to remain calm, focused, and confident. He advised the students to carefully read and understand each question before responding, emphasizing that success comes through preparation and honesty.
Further, the DPP cautioned both candidates and examination officials against engaging in any form of malpractice, reiterating that the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) would take firm legal action against anyone found compromising the integrity of the exams.
He reaffirmed his Office’s commitment to upholding fairness and accountability in all national processes, noting that examination integrity plays a critical role in shaping the nation’s future. The DPP commended teachers and invigilators for their dedication and called on all stakeholders to ensure a smooth and credible examination period across the country.
