DCP Party Leader Rigathi Gachagua Sends Condolence Message to Senator Lenny Kivuti

 

Deputy Conservative Party (DCP) leader Rigathi Gachagua has conveyed a heartfelt message of condolence to Senator Lenny Kivuti following the death of his mother, Canon Penina Ciambogo Ngũngì.

In his statement, Gachagua expressed profound sorrow at the passing of the 92-year-old matriarch, describing her as a remarkable woman who served as a pillar of strength within her family and the church community.

“My dear brother Senator Lenny Kivuti and your family, I am deeply sorry to learn of the passing of your dear mother, Canon Penina Ciambogo Ngũngì,” he said, extending sympathies on behalf of his own family. He prayed for comfort for the Kivuti family, their friends, and the people of Mbeere as they come to terms with the loss of a mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Gachagua praised the late Canon Penina for her lifelong commitment to faith, unity, and service, noting that her values are clearly reflected in the life and leadership of Senator Kivuti. “Penina was a strong pillar of your home and the church for a long time. She espoused love, unity, wisdom and great faith in the Lord and humanity,” he said.

He also celebrated her long life, calling her 92 years “a great blessing from God,” and acknowledging the many lives she touched through her dedication to church service.

“May Almighty God rest the soul of Penina in eternal peace and may perpetual light shine upon her forever,” Gachagua concluded.

The Kivuti family is expected to release burial arrangements in the coming days.
