When my business kept failing no matter how hard I tried, I finally understood what I was doing wrong
My name is Josephine, and I live in Eldoret. I have always been a hardworking woman. Since I was young, I believed that if you wake up early, stay honest, and work hard, life will reward you. But life doesn’t always work that way.
For many years, I tried to run small businesses. I started with a kiosk, then moved to selling clothes, and later tried a salon. Each time, I began well, but after a few months, things would fall apart. Customers would stop coming, or I’d get losses that didn’t make sense. It reached a point where I started fearing to even open a new business because I thought maybe I was just not meant to succeed.
I remember one December when I lost almost everything. My kiosk was broken into, and all my stock was stolen. I cried until my head hurt.
