Photos: President Ruto Leads Nation in Honoring the Late Raila Odinga at Kasarani

 

President William Ruto today led the country’s top leadership in paying their final respects to the late Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, whose body lies in state at Kasarani Stadium.

Accompanied by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, President Ruto joined Kenyans from all walks of life in a solemn moment of national reflection, marking the life and legacy of the former Prime Minister.

 

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta was also present, alongside a host of dignitaries, cabinet secretaries, governors, MPs, and leaders from across the political divide.

The event, marked by tributes and moments of silence, highlighted Raila Odinga’s enduring impact on Kenya’s democracy, governance, and reform journey.

 

Raila's body will lie in state for public viewing before the official state funeral scheduled for later this week.
