Naivas returns home to Nakuru with a heritage caravan in celebration of 35 years of Kenyan excellence and community

Naivas Supermarkets, Kenya’s leading retail chain, has today embarked on a deeply symbolic heritage caravan, a heartfelt homecoming journey retracing the company’s roots back to Nakuru, the birthplace of the iconic Kenyan retail brand.

 The caravan represents a moment of reflection and appreciation, honouring the humble beginnings, enduring partnerships, and loyal communities that have shaped Naivas’ 35-year journey.

The convoy was flagged off from the Naivas Head Office by the company’s newly appointed CEO, Mr. Andreas von Paleske, and will travel from Nairobi to Nakuru, making stops in Tilisi and Naivasha. The journey is both a celebration and a gesture of gratitude — a symbolic return to where it all began.

“For Naivas, Nakuru is more than a location. It is our birthplace, the cradle of our story,” said Mr. Andreas von Paleske, 

Naivas CEO. “This homecoming allows us to stand side-by-side with our most valued partners and connect directly with the communities that have been the foundation of our success.”

The colourful roadshow features branded rigs and trucks from Naivas, accompanied by key partners such as LG Electronics, Tropical Heat, Pepsi, and Standard Group. Along the route, communities will enjoy entertainment, giveaways, and product activations, transforming the journey into a shared celebration of unity, heritage, and pride.

The Heritage Caravan will culminate in Nakuru, where Naivas will host a grand celebration on October 15 at the Sarova Woodlands Lawns, blending entertainment, partnership, and public engagement into a powerful tribute to its 35-year legacy.
