Residents were left stunned on Tuesday morning after a well-known Member of Parliament was found helplessly stuck in a lodging with a woman alleged to be his secret lover. The incident, which drew a large crowd outside the guesthouse, turned into a chaotic spectacle after it emerged that the MP’s wife had suspected his infidelity — and decided to take matters into her own hands.

According to eyewitnesses, the MP, whose identity is being withheld for legal reasons, had checked into the guesthouse late Monday night with a young woman believed to be in her mid-20s. Everything appeared normal until the early hours of the morning when loud cries were heard coming from the room.
