Kesses Police Station Set for Completion as NG-CDF CEO Inspects Stalled Project
Kesses MP Julius Rutto says construction works are expected to be completed within the current financial year following an inspection by the NG-CDF Acting CEO.
Kesses Constituency Member of Parliament Hon. CPA Julius Rutto has announced that the stalled construction of Kesses Police Station is scheduled for completion within the current financial year, raising expectations of improved security infrastructure and service delivery in the constituency.
The legislator made the announcement after hosting the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Benjamin Magut, during his visit to the Kesses NG-CDF offices.
During the visit, Magut assessed the progress of various development projects being implemented through NG-CDF across the constituency, with a focus on their implementation status and the utilisation of development resources.
The delegation later proceeded to the Kesses Police Station construction site, where the Acting CEO inspected the stalled project to establish its current status and assess the progress made towards its completion.
Speaking after the inspection, Rutto said the project is expected to be completed within the current financial year, paving the way for improved security infrastructure and more efficient service delivery to residents.
The completion of the police station is expected to strengthen security operations in the area by providing a dedicated facility to support police officers in carrying out their duties and serving members of the public.
Rutto reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that NG-CDF funds are utilised effectively and that development projects initiated across Kesses Constituency are completed to benefit local residents.
He further emphasised the importance of monitoring ongoing projects to ensure that public resources translate into tangible development outcomes.
The inspection comes amid continued efforts by the constituency leadership and NG-CDF management to assess the implementation of development projects and address challenges affecting their timely completion.
Residents will now be looking forward to the fulfilment of the commitment, particularly the completion of Kesses Police Station within the stated financial year.
