Ruto Mourns Kiraitu Murungi’s Daughter Anita in Emotional Message

President William Ruto has joined leaders across the country in mourning the death of Anita Kendi Murungi, daughter of former Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi.

In a heartfelt condolence message, President Ruto expressed sympathy to the Murungi family following the untimely passing of Anita, describing the loss as a devastating tragedy.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to former Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi and his family following the untimely passing of his daughter, Anita Kendi Murungi,” the President said.

“The loss of a child, especially one so young, bright and full of promise, is a profound tragedy that leaves an immeasurable void.”

The Head of State said his thoughts and prayers were with the Murungi family during the difficult period of grief and mourning.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Murungi family during this difficult time. May they find strength in the support of family, friends and all those mourning with them,” Ruto added.

The President also paid tribute to Anita, remembering her as a young woman whose life held great promise before it was cut short.

“Rest in peace, Anita,” he concluded.

Messages of condolence continued to pour in from political leaders, friends and Kenyans who took to social media to comfort the former governor and his family.

The family has not yet released further details regarding Anita’s death or funeral arrangements.
