Gachagua Mourns Rev. Catherine Macharia as Church Leaders and Faithful Pay Tribute

 



Former Deputy President and Rigathi Gachagua has mourned the death of Rev. Catherine Macharia, describing her as a devoted servant of God who dedicated her life to prayer and service to humanity.

In a heartfelt condolence message, the DCP party leader said he received news of the passing of Rev. Catherine, wife to Bishop Dr. David Macharia, with great sadness.

Gachagua praised the late cleric for her unwavering commitment to the Christian faith and the role she played in supporting ministry work within the Full Gospel Churches of Kenya.

“I have learnt of the passing on of Rev. Catherine Macharia with great sadness. Rev. Catherine lived a life of prayer, service to God and humanity,” said Gachagua.

The former Deputy President conveyed condolences on behalf of his wife, Rev. Dorcas Rigathi, saying they stand with Bishop Macharia, the church leadership and congregants during the difficult period of mourning.

“To Bishop Dr. David Macharia, please accept our deepest condolences at this difficult moment. To the Full Gospel church members, we too condole with you and share in the pain and grief you bear,” he stated.

Gachagua further assured the bereaved family and faithful of his prayers, expressing hope that God would grant them strength and grace to overcome the loss.

“You are all in our prayers; may you receive God’s grace and strength to accept His will. Rev. Catherine has been called home where we all belong,” he added.

The death of Rev. Catherine has drawn tributes from religious leaders, politicians and Christians across the country, many remembering her as a humble and compassionate leader who touched many lives through ministry and community service.

Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the family and church leadership in the coming days.
