“Bartoo Delivers Big Win for Teachers and Learners as Chebarus School Gets Ultra-Modern Classrooms”
Phylis Bartoo has reaffirmed his commitment to transforming the education sector after officially commissioning a newly constructed four-classroom storey complex at Chebarus Primary School, a landmark project fully funded through the Moiben NG-CDF.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony attended by pupils, teachers, parents, the Board of Management and local residents, the Moiben legislator said investment in education infrastructure remains critical in improving academic performance and creating a conducive learning environment for learners and teachers alike.
Prof Bartoo noted that modern classrooms not only enhance the quality of education but also motivate teachers and inspire pupils to pursue their dreams in a safe and dignified environment.
The lawmaker further announced a major breakthrough for teachers at Eldoret Chebarus Primary School, revealing that the teaching staff will now benefit from enhanced house allowance similar to their counterparts within Eldoret Municipality.
He described the move as a long overdue intervention aimed at promoting fairness, boosting teacher morale and improving welfare for educators who continue to play a central role in shaping the future of society.
Prof Bartoo said the completion of the new classroom complex marks another milestone in his broader agenda of uplifting standards of education across Moiben Constituency through improved infrastructure and increased support for schools.
Parents and teachers who attended the event welcomed the development, saying the new classrooms will help ease congestion and provide a better atmosphere for learning.
The MP reiterated that his leadership will continue prioritizing projects that directly impact the lives of residents, especially in the education sector, adding that empowering children through quality education is the foundation of community progress and future prosperity.
