My name is Mzee Joseph, an elder from Mbale, Uganda, and I want to share my story to encourage families facing land conflicts and misunderstandings. For many years, our family was involved in serious land disputes that almost destroyed our unity. Brothers were fighting each other, relatives stopped talking, and meetings always ended in arguments and anger. The land that was supposed to bring development and stability instead became the source of division and pain in our family.We tried involving local leaders, elders, and even legal authorities, but the disagreements continued.

Every discussion turned into accusations and mistrust, and peace seemed impossible. The situation became so bad that some family members threatened to take the matter to court, which would have made things worse and completely broken our family ties. I was deeply worried because I wanted unity and peace among my children and relatives.That’s when we contacted Magongo Doctors after being referred by a friend who had resolved a similar family conflict. The anger and tension reduced, and unity started returning to the family. Eventually, we reached a fair agreement on how the land would be shared and managed without further conflict.Today, our family is peaceful, united, and working together for development.
