Uasin Gishu Assembly Speaker Sends Eid-ul-Fitr Message of Unity and Peace

Uasin Gishu County Assembly Speaker, Philip Muigei, has extended warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to Muslim faithful, emphasizing the importance of peace, unity, and compassion during the festive season.

In a message shared ahead of the celebrations, Muigei wished the Muslim community a blessed and joyful Eid, noting that the sacred occasion marks not only the end of Ramadan but also a time for reflection, generosity, and togetherness. He expressed hope that the period would bring joy and countless blessings to families across the county and beyond.

“May this sacred time bring you and your family peace, joy, and countless blessings,” read part of the message.

The Speaker also highlighted the significance of coexistence and mutual respect among people of different faiths, calling on residents to embrace harmony and support one another as communities celebrate.

Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the most important holidays in the Islamic calendar, is observed by Muslims worldwide following a month of fasting, prayer, and spiritual growth during Ramadan.

Muigei’s message joins those of other leaders across the country who have recognized the contribution of the Muslim community to national unity and development.

The celebrations are expected to be marked by prayers, charitable acts, and gatherings with family and friends.

Eid Mubarak to all those celebrating.
