Teso South MP Mary Emaase Celebrates Academic Progress at Kaliwa Secondary School AGM

Teso South Member of Parliament Mary Emaase today joined students, parents, and education stakeholders at St. Jacob’s Kaliwa Secondary School for its Annual General Meeting and Thanksgiving Ceremony held at Kaliwa Grounds in Amukura Central Ward.

The event brought together the school community in a vibrant gathering aimed at reflecting on past achievements, addressing challenges, and setting a renewed vision for academic excellence. Speaking during the ceremony, the MP commended the school for its steady progress and emphasized the importance of unity among stakeholders in improving education standards.

A highlight of the event was the recognition of the Class of 2025, which recorded a notable improvement in academic performance. Emaase praised the students for their discipline and determination, attributing their success to teamwork and effective support systems within the school.
