Optiven Unveils Game-Changing ‘Buy and Build’ Campaign to Turn Landowners into Homeowners
Real estate firm Optiven Limited has launched a bold new initiative aimed at transforming how Kenyans approach property investment, shifting the focus from land buying to complete home ownership.
Speaking during the announcement, Managing Director and CEO George Wachiuri introduced the #BuyAndBuildNaOptiven campaign, a forward-thinking program designed to help customers not only acquire land but also seamlessly construct their dream homes.
The initiative marks a significant evolution in Optiven’s business model, positioning the company as a one-stop solution for property ownership. With operations spanning 30 counties and a customer base exceeding 30,000, the firm is now leveraging strategic partnerships with over 10 reputable construction companies to bring this vision to life.
Among the partners is MyPloti Construction, which will play a key role in helping clients transition from landowners to homeowners through professional, end-to-end building services.
Already, the impact of the campaign is visible across several flagship projects, including Great Oasis Nanyuki, Happy Gardens Kitengela, Victory Gardens Kitengela, and Optiven’s Vipingo developments. In these locations, customers have begun constructing homes and settling into newly developed communities.
Dr. Wachiuri emphasized that the initiative is tailored to simplify what has traditionally been a complex and costly journey. By integrating land purchase and home construction under one ecosystem, the company aims to enhance affordability, accessibility, and quality for its clients.
He also lauded Steve Mbugua following the signing of a recent Memorandum of Understanding, describing it as a pivotal step in strengthening partnerships that directly benefit customers.
The #BuyAndBuildNaOptiven campaign aligns with the company’s broader vision of “Inspiring Possibilities,” reinforcing its commitment to bridging the gap between land acquisition and actual home ownership.
Optiven is now urging customers who already own plots within its developments to take the next step and begin building, with full backing from its network of trusted partners.
As the campaign gains momentum, it signals a shift in Kenya’s real estate landscape—one where owning land is no longer the final goal, but the beginning of a journey toward building a home.
“Let’s build homes. Let’s build the future.”
